Development
Thompson Realty has participated in the development of over $500,000,000 of various types of real estate assets. While our development capabilities encompass the entire spectrum of real estate investments, mixed use development is a primary focus in recent years. We are proficient in development and capable of taking a proactive role in helping achieve specific development goals.
In-House Construction
With a focus on maintaining high standards of workmanship while keeping costs to a minimum, our in-house construction department proves that quality does not necessitate the expenditure of a large sum of money. Thompson Realty's construction department prides itself on the ability to offer the finest finish-out and expansion services without losing sight of the bottom line.
Management and Leasing
Thompson Realty currently manages 1.5 million square feet of commercial and retail properties, and we manage numerous multi-family communities. Our certified professionals offer knowledgeable advice on achieving optimum value and usage of all types of commercial and retail assets. We approach management and leasing from an owner's perspective, focusing on: a) tenant retention and b) maximizing net operating income. With paramount consideration of these two key objectives, we work to develop long range marketing and leasing programs designed specifically for each individual property. In-House Legal
Thompson Realty employs in-house legal counsel with extensive experience in real estate transactions of many types. Legal counsel assists and supports all company personnel in the preparation of documents and negotiation of transactions. Legal counsel interfaces directly with other attorneys (including those of our tenants and partners) as needed. The availability of Thompson Realty’s in-house legal support can save charges to assets for outside legal fees as a real estate transaction is negotiated and closed.
Financial Services
As an owner of real property, Thompson Realty understands the importance of financial structure and money management. We actively seek to improve an owner's cash flow through loan restructuring and active cash management. Accounting functions are handled through state-of-the-art data systems run by experienced accounting professionals.
Due Diligence
In connection with an ownership transfer, Thompson Realty provides its clients with a complete and clear understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of a particular real estate asset. With our in-house legal counsel and dedicated professionals in the accounting and asset management areas, an owner is assured of receiving a detailed accounting of the property that is concise and easy to understand.
