W.T. Field - President and CEO

President and Chief Executive Officer

Tom Field became President and CEO of Thompson Realty Corporation in 1990. For the preceding two years, Mr. Field was the Chief Operating Officer in charge of development, management and leasing for the Dallas Metroplex for Thompson Realty Corporation. He began his real estate career at The Cambridge Companies in 1981 as Vice President, Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer. Prior to Mr. Field\'s entry into real estate, he spent seven years with Michigan General Corporation as Assistant Treasurer, Director of Accounting and SEC reporting.

Some of the projects and transactions in which Mr. Field has taken significant responsibility include:

Development and capitalization of multi-phase office and land development projects in Dallas and San Antonio.

Management of approximately 1.6 million square feet of commercial space, chiefly office projects.

Arranged financing and assisted in acquisition due diligence for the purchase of approximately one million square feet of commercial space in Dallas, Houston and San Antonio.

Managed the development of ten subdivisions totaling 3,000 lots in Dallas and San Antonio.

Mr. Field earned his Bachelor of Business degree with high honors from Southern Methodist University in 1974. Mr. Field is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the Texas State Society and American Institute of CPA\'s.
